  1. This is a LightWave model of my head that was scanned on a Cyberware
  2. 3D laser scanner. The model is comprised of a 195K polygon data set
  3. and a 24bit map image (which has been jpeg compressed). When loading
  4. the object into LightWave, a requester may pop up looking for the
  5. image map. LightWave expects the image to be in Textures:mark.face
  6. (if I remember correctly). If it cannot find it there, the requestor
  7. will pop up. Just hit OK and point it to the proper location (make sure
  8. to un-jpeg it). If for some reason you mess up the texture coordinates,
  9. just use y-axis cylindrical mapping with auto-sizing. Let me know if you
  10. do anything interesting with it. The files included are:

  19. *NOTE* When using the default camera settings (zoom=2.4) I notice a lot of
  20. perspective distortion. By moving the camera farther away and increasing
  21. the zoom, it actually starts to look something like me.
